Gilbert Gottfried’s remaining Instagram submit was about Chris Rock

Rock was slapped by Will Smith whereas presenting on the Academy Awards after Rock made a joke about Smith’s partner, Jada Pinkett Smith.

“Which is the worst crime?,” the caption on the {photograph} of Gottfried and Rock study. “Chris Rock being bodily assaulted or Chris Rock telling a joke?”

In a 2012 opinion piece for CNN, Gottfried defended fellow comics.

“If a comic book tells a joke that you just uncover humorous, you chuckle. If he tells a joke you don’t uncover humorous, don’t chuckle. Or you could presumably go as far as groaning or rolling your eyes,” he wrote. “You then look forward to his subsequent joke; if that’s humorous, then you definitely undoubtedly chuckle. If it’s not, you don’t chuckle — or at very worst, you probably can depart quietly.”
